The MicroBIOstatic Clean System is the combined application of our Hospital Grade Sanitizer that kills viruses such as COVID-19 and an EPA registered antimicrobial nanotechnology that protects against microbes, such as bacteria, molds and other microorganisms for up to 90 days. When applied to a surface, incorporated into a material or rubbed onto hands, the MicroBIOstatic antimicrobial coating forms a covalent bond with the surface creating an invisible layer of protection. The coating forms a nano-bed shield of spikes (self assembling monolayer), each of which carry a positive charge that attracts the negatively charged microbes. Once attracted, the molecular spikes pierce the cell and rupture its cell membrane, causing the bacterial microorganism to die.
Unlike chemical antimicrobial applications which last hours, our mechanical nano-spikes perform the job of piercing the cell membrane and stand ready to do the job over and over for a period of up to 90 days with a single application.
